About This Spot

Stepping into Stillhouse Coffee, you’re warmly greeted by a space that feels both inviting and alive with gentle energy. Nestled in the heart of Edmonds along Main Street, this local coffee shop offers a blend of comforting calm and subtle buzz—perfect for those looking to linger over a thoughtfully crafted drink or pause during a day of wandering.

The atmosphere strikes a lovely balance between cozy and open, with large windows inviting daylight to spill in and illuminate faces and pages alike. Whether you’re perched at a quiet corner table or seated near the bustling window where orders flow swiftly outside, there’s an approachable ease to the pace here: unhurried yet alive with small acts of human connection.

What sets Stillhouse apart isn’t just the rich coffee aromas or the warmth of its friendly team but the thoughtful nod to variety and seasonality in their offerings. Matcha enthusiasts often find themselves returning, drawn by the bright, fresh notes in unique takes like the strawberry matcha with oat milk or the maple cinnamon twist. For coffee lovers, there’s that reassuring familiarity of a finely pulled Americano or cortado, each cup served with genuine care. The pastry case is no afterthought either—a rotating selection invites indulgence in flaky croissants, cinnamon rolls, or apple turnovers that feel like a soft moment of sweetness in the day.

Stillhouse Coffee feels especially tuned to the rhythms of the Edmonds community: welcoming early risers grabbing a quick espresso before a ferry ride, friends catching up over lattes, or solo visitors stealing away with a book or laptop in a spot where the sun casts warm patches across wood tables. On sunnier days, the space brightens with a vibrant energy that mirrors the neighborhood’s easygoing spirit, while on quieter, overcast afternoons, it becomes a comfortable refuge from the Pacific Northwest drizzle.

This is a place that invites discovery—not just of flavors, but of small, genuine moments that make everyday life feel quietly joyful. Whether you’re on the move or settling in, Stillhouse Coffee offers a grounded, human pause that’s easy to return to again and again.

I went for coffee but they had a tea called Edmonds Mist which is like a London Fog but with lavender syrup. It was delicious. I'll definitely have to come back for their coffee next though. Overall a very nice cafe with lots of coffee, non-coffee, snacks and pastries for everyone. It's also a short walk down to the water and the Ferry

Rating purely on the matcha as a tea enthusiast: it's great! I've literally gotten a matcha almost everyday for 4 weeks when I stayed in Edmonds! The strawberry matcha is the best (get it with oat milk)! When I started getting it, my friends got influenced and also started getting matcha from Stillhouse haha! One of my friends is also a barista and she says their coffee is great too (but I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't speak on that). There's a bit of a wait and sometimes even a line (and for a good reason). Make sure to factor in the wait, especially around 12-2pm. There's free WiFi and some seating, but most of the tables are on the smaller side.

Favorite café in town. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and distinctive product offerings including the rotating seasonal menu. This place woke my craving for matcha. I usually order the Americano, but the maple cinnamon matcha has easily become my favorite.

Great place to grab a quick coffee, matcha, bite in Edmonds. They have a good seating area for individuals or small groups. I love the windows and the location of the area. Very cozy, theres even a window to order stuff from if you want it on the go. I highly recommend this place and would come back!

Great coffee, food and location. I have been here on rainy/overcast days but when the Sun is out the space is vibrant. The staff is always friendly and makes an effort to welcome everyone. The coffee is elevated and made with care. Definitely place to visit in Edmonds.

TLDR; this place is an Edmonds gem Discovered this place on Friday, and literally came back again on Sunday - it’s that good. The forager breakfast burrito is supremely good - so much flavor and yet so simple, by far the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. The garlic knot was too! Coffee: we tried the mocha and one of their specialty lattes (I forget the name!) - both were absolutely delicious. The coffee is smooth, the roast is absolutely perfect, and the sweetness is just right.

This the perfect neighborhood gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, and genuinely friendly service that made me feel instantly at home. I mentioned it was my first time in and she asked how I heard of them. I shared how I love local coffee shops, searched on Yelp and came in to check it out. She genuinely said "thank you for making the time to visit us today". The coffee itself is outstanding. It's tasty, perfectly brewed, and served with care in a cute ceramic mug as I mentioned it was for "here". It's a a small detail that makes a huge difference for me. The breakfast item I had was so fresh and delicious. I've been to many coffee shops - this one was memorable and I'll definitely return! If you're looking for a cozy spot with superb coffee, amazing food, and a wonderful atmosphere (great music and just the right volume) - this is the locally coffee shop to visit!

I am visiting Lynwood from Utah and I was told by somebody who lives in the area to try this coffee shop. I loved it! I asked the barista what her favorite syrup was and she told me to try the vanilla bourbon maple. I think that’s what it was, but anyways, I usually get my lattes half flavor, and then also an extra shot and the balance between the flavor was perfect. I also really liked the taste of their espresso. I will be back if I’m ever in the area and I highly recommend this coffee shop!
